Checked on comma four routes recorded by openpilot 0.11.2 and downloaded from comma connect. The GPS route and the start time of each camera come from qlog.zst. Older routes with date-based names and .bz2 logs aren't recognized; other comma devices haven't been checked yet.
Playing comma.ai recordings in everydashcam
By default, the only video your comma four uploads to comma connect is the low-resolution qcamera.ts road preview. To watch the full-resolution fcamera.hevc, ecamera.hevc and dcamera.hevc cameras, request their upload in comma connect and use a browser that plays HEVC video. The preview plays in any browser.
- Open the drive in comma connect and download every file of the segments you need, including qlog.zst.
- Open everydashcam.app in any modern browser.
- Drag all the downloaded files onto the page together — the segments join into one trip.
