  • Trips, not clipsMinute-long clips join into one continuous trip — one timeline, one route. Any stretch saves as a single MP4.
  • Many dashcam brands.mp4 .mov .ts files open as-is — no drivers, no vendor software.
  • Speed and eventsHard braking and impacts are marked on the chart. Click a mark to jump to that moment.
  • All cameras at onceFront, rear, cabin — in sync. Enlarge any of them.
  • Edit, combine & exportTrim, combine cameras into one video and burn speed, coordinates or a moving map onto the export. GPS inside the file or as a separate .gpx.
  • Hide plates & facesYou can blur a license plate or a face before sharing — the cover follows the object as it moves.

FAQ

Short answers

Which dashcams are supported?
70mai, Viofo, BlackVue, GoPro and many others — see all supported brands. GPS availability depends on the recording format.
Which devices and browsers does it work on?
On Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, right in your browser. Chrome or Edge is best for editing; Firefox and Safari support playback, the map and saving the original video. You can also install everydashcam from a supported browser and use it offline.
Are my recordings uploaded anywhere?
No. everydashcam opens your recordings right on your device — they are never uploaded anywhere.
Can I watch separate clips as one trip?
Yes. Open the SD-card folder and the clips join into continuous trips, with one timeline and one route on the map.
Can I save a clip and hide plates or faces?
Yes. Select a trip range, combine cameras, add speed or a mini-map, and save it as MP4. You can hide plates and faces with blur, pixels or a solid fill, all on your device.
Trips or cameras won't join, or GPS is missing?
Tell us what went wrong and send sample recordings — we'll look into the format and help add support for your dashcam.
Is it free? How can I help?
Free, with no ads, sign-up or subscriptions. If everydashcam has been useful, share a link and a few words about your experience — it helps others find the project. A GitHub star is welcome too.
